5 Reasons to Dine at Pier 1

 

Pier 1 is located on Howard Cooke Blvd, Montego Bay, and is the ideal place to be for date nights, outings with friends and family, and special occasions and events. After dining at Pier 1 I can say my experience was memorable, and here are the 5 reasons why.

1.      The Service

Walking through the entrance of Pier 1 you are greeted by a waitress or waiter with the biggest and most welcoming smile, despite having reservations or not. You are given a seat and then shortly after a bottle of complimentary Pier 1 water and the menu to decide what you’ll be having. The best thing is that once you’re ready to place your order waiters and waitresses are readily available to assist you. Food is also served in a very short period of time and throughout the course of dining, the waiters constantly check on you to ensure your experience is going smoothly.

2.      Affordable Meal Prices

Sometimes it is hard to go out and treat yourself because of how ridiculously high the prices are at some restaurants in Jamaica. However, Pier 1 caters to all budgets. They have quality meals starting from as low as $1500.

3.      Food

The taste of the food at Pier 1 is incredible, they will have a person who hates vegetables cleaning their sauteed vegies from the plate. They have a variety of options to choose from such as fresh salads, homemade soups, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, tacos, seafood, butcher block dinners, vegetarian, desserts, and a large selection of drinks and daiquiris. I would suggest their classic burger which is of a moderate proportion and cost only $1600. Their curried goat and coconut-crusted fish are very juicy and mouthwatering, neither of the two cost more than $3000 and come with sides. The last two things on the menu I would like to bring to your attention are Ms. Russ' carrot cake and the chocolate milkshake.

4.      Kid-friendly

Another great thing about the Pier 1 is that it is kid friendly.  Options on the kids’ menu include chicken fingers, fish fingers, mini pizzas, hamburgers, and much more. Also, the music that is played is not only suitable for adults but for kids as well.

5.      Location and Scenery

Pier 1 is located by the seaside and while eating you are constantly feeling the most calming cool wind blowing on your skin. The view from looking out into the sea while dining is also very breathtaking.

I should also mention that Pier 1 offers boat rides for those interested. All in all, Pier 1 is the place to be for a memorable dining experience on a budget.
